We Make War

Message

In various scriptures in the Bible, Jesus, Paul, the disciples, or others deliver demonically oppressed people from the devil’s influence. Yet, the Church as a whole has left that aspect of Jesus’ ministry out. There are churches across America and the world that do not even touch the area of deliverance or worst believe that demons or the darkness does not exist. There is a movie that played in theaters several years ago called “the Kingdom of Heaven” The premise of the film was that the believers in the church would fight against an insurrection in Jerusalem. When I watched that movie for the first time, the film left a lasting impact on my spiritual walk. Not that the film was overly spiritual; it wasn’t or that it had some deep hidden meaning embedded in the film; it didn’t.   It just shows what lengths some people would go to hold off the enemy. Every time I go to Israel, I am reminded what we are fighting for. Jesus walked the earth so we can be free and destroy the darkness off of our lives. As a matter of fact we visit and walk the “way of the cross” and feel His pain of the price Jesus paid for our freedom. By denying Jesus’ ministry of deliverance, we deny the power of the cross. The Church needs to get back to making war against the enemy and his imps. Notice in the scripture below, the man with an unclean spirit was in the church. Don’t be fooled there are plenty of people in the church needing deliverance from unclean spirits or other darknesses. It is time for us to make war. GBFIC is called to collide with darkness. I am ready to fight so GBFIC and friends, let’s go! “We need to Make War”

Scripture

“And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice, Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God. And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not.”
Luke‬ ‭4:33-35‬ ‭KJV‬‬
