God Restored Me
God restored me!
My brothers and sisters in Christ, I am imploring you to use this refrain as much as possible. With everything going on in the world, it is impossible to be here without the restorative power of Jesus Christ in your life. Repeat after me; God restored me! Why is this such a powerful statement you might ask, is that you are prophesying to yourself even if you have not received the manifestation of Jesus Christ. God, through
His prophets, has always pointed us toward our restoration. In the book of Isaiah chapter 61:4-7, we find God giving His children great hope of restoration. Isaiah tells us “To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified. “And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations. And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the alien shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers. But ye shall be named the Priests of the Lord: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: ye shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall ye boast yourselves. For your shame, ye shall have double, and for confusion, they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.” (Isaiah 61:4-7 KJV) Not only will Jesus turn away your ashes, mourning, and the spirit of heaviness but he will restore you with a double for what you are going through.
I will say it again, repeat after me. God restored me! He promised to heal us through His restoration power. In Jeremiah 30:17, God states emphatically that he will heal us. He says He will restore us through healing. “For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.” (Jeremiah 30:17 KJV)
GBFIC, repeat after me. God restored me! He will even give you back the years that have been stolen from you by his restoration power. I love this restorative justice that Jesus is dishing out to His followers. God is restoring your body, heart, mind, finances, and soul because He loves us. In the book of Joel, God prophesies His involvement with your restoration. “And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed. And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the
Lord your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.” (Joel 2:27 KJV)
Everyone, repeat after me. GOD RESTORED ME!
